How Can Airbag Injuries Affect a Personal Injury Claim in La Vista, NE?
While airbags are designed to reduce the risk of severe injuries during a collision, they can sometimes cause injuries of their own. Burns, abrasions, bruising, facial injuries, and hand injuries are among the conditions occasionally reported after an airbag deploys. The severity of these injuries can vary depending on factors such as vehicle speed, seating position, and the nature of the crash.
Medical treatment is often one of the first considerations after an airbag-related injury. Even injuries that appear minor may require follow-up care, prescription medications, or physical therapy. Keeping records of treatment, photographs of visible injuries, and documentation of expenses can help create a clearer understanding of the recovery process.
Depending on the circumstances, a car accident attorney may be able to review medical records, insurance information, and other evidence to evaluate a potential claim. Legal guidance can help explain what options may be available and whether compensation could be sought for medical expenses, lost income, and other damages.
