Teen Identified After Fatal Collision on NW 84th St in Lincoln, NE
Lincoln, NE (May 27, 2026) – On Wednesday, May 27, authorities identified 18-year-old Ali Alasady as the passenger who died following a crash at Northwest 84th Street and West O Street in Lincoln.
The wreck happened on Monday, May 25, and left eight people hurt.
According to the initial report, a Ford Focus was heading south on Northwest 84th Street when it failed to stop and struck an eastbound Nissan Kicks on West O Street. Alasady, a passenger in the Ford Focus, was ejected from the vehicle and later died at a hospital.
In total, eight people were taken to hospitals after the collision. Three were from the Ford Focus and five were from the Nissan Kicks.

Lincoln Police Department stated that speed, impairment, distracted driving, and seat belt use are all being reviewed during the ongoing investigation into the crash.
